Turn on Testing Cheats

Most of these cheats require you to turn on Testing Cheats, so let’s do that first. Open up your Cheat Console and enter testingcheats true. You can now enter more cheats than before.

Getting the Sim ID for Cheats

Some cheats require you to find out the Sim ID of a Sim or pet first. This can be your own Sims, but it also works for Sims you do not play. Enter Sims.get_Sim_id_by_name {FirstName} {LastName} to find their ID.

Keep a space between their First and Last Names. If you need a space elsewhere you can use an underscore. For example, my Sim would be called Sena Sims_Academy.

Transmogrify your Sim into a Spellcaster

Turn your Sims into Spellcasters with these cheats. Make sure to use them in Live Mode, because they won’t work in CAS. The cheats only work on regular Sims, so not on other occults.

Gain a Witchy Ancestry

Have you ever dreamt of joining a prestigious bloodline of powerful Spellcasters? Now, with the help of these cheats, even those without magical heritage – silly muggles – can fulfill that desire! However, it’s important to note that only one of these traits can be active at a time.

Unleash Curses on your Sims

Curses, a fascination for some, but not so much for the Sim who falls victim to them. Thankfully, with these cheats, you can effortlessly bestow or remove curses upon your Sim. It’s important to note that your needs panel will only display up to three curses at a time, even if your Sim is afflicted with more.

Traits.equip_trait trait_Curses_InfectiousLaughter	Curse of Infectious Laughter You can’t stop laughing, no matter how inappropriate it might be. And you’re taking other Sims down with you.

When using the cheats starting with Traits.equip_trait you can change the word equip to remove if you want to remove a curse.

Give your Sim a Ghastly Appearance

Realm of Magic introduces a new death type, which comes with its own ghost appearance. But dying isn’t the only way to become a ghost, check out these cheats!

If you want to turn back into your normal self, you can change the word equip to remove if you want to remove the spooky look.

Renovate the Magic Realm Headquarters

Let’s face it… The main building of the Magic Realm doesn’t look that great. But luckily with this cheat you can give it a full-on renovation!

Increase your Spellcaster Rank

Swiftly level up your Spellcaster rank and ascend to the esteemed status of a Virtuoso in no time. These cheats do not require the mod, but can cause your Spellcaster Perks interface to become corrupted. Please be warned.

Buff your Potion of Good Fortune

This potion can be quite powerful, but what if I tell you it can get even better? With these cheats, you can give your Sim the Moodlet the potion usually grants and even choose what outcomes you’ll be gifted. 

If you don’t have an actual Potion of Good Fortune, enter the Sims.add_buff buff_Cauldron_Potion_Luck_Potent cheat first, this will activate the Luck of the Spellcaster Moodlet. Now you can choose one of the following effects:

Become a School of Magic Sage

This buff is unfortunately temporary and more visual than anything else. Your Sim will get their Sage rune above their head and will have the ability to teach others magic. It lasts until you enter a loading screen, so traveling will cancel the effect. Other than that, the three actual sages remain in their NPC roles. But with this cheat you can make some pretty cool screenshots for sure!
