Island Living Cheats

Summon a pod of dolphins, change your Sim into merfolk with a simple cheat or clean up the island of Sulani without the hard work. You can do it all and more with the cheats for The Sims 4 Island Living!

All cheats are tested by our own team first before posting them here. We made sure they work properly and are safe to use in your game. Find more of our cheats on the masterlist!

Turn on Testing Cheats

Most of these cheats require you to turn on Testing Cheats, so let’s do that first. Open up your Cheat Console and enter testingcheats true. You can now enter more cheats than before.

Instant Sunbathing Session, Check!

Now that Testing Cheats are on, you can Shift + Click on your Sim open up the cheats menu. Click on ‘Sunbathing Options…’ and pick the one you want to use on the targeted Sim. Tans & burns will have the appearance of your Sims’ current outfit.

Burnt	Give your Sim a sunburn.
Tanned	Give your Sim a healthy tan.
Lock Tan/Burn	Your Sims’ tan or burn will no long expire.
No Tan	Remove any tan or burn from your Sim.

Change your Sim into a Mermaid

Turn your Sims into merfolk, or vice versa, with these cheats. Make sure to use them in Live Mode, because they won’t work in CAS. The cheats only work on regular Sims, so not on other occults.

Cheat Code	Result
Traits.equip_trait trait_OccultMermaid	Changes a human Sim into merfolk.
Traits.remove_trait trait_OccultMermaid	Changes merfolk back into a regular Sim.
Traits.remove_trait trait_OccultMermaid_TYAE	After using the cheat above, use this to turn your hydration need back into hygiene instead.
Traits.equip_trait trait_OccultMermaid_MermaidForm	Turn into your merfolk appearance anywhere.

Give your Sim the Island Living Traits

Become more attuned with live on the island of Sulani with these bonus personality traits.

Cheat Code	Result
Traits.equip_trait trait_BeachBum_LaidBack	Give your Sim the Laid-Back trait, so they’ll never become tense again.
Traits.equip_trait trait_FriendOfTheSea	Give your Sim the Master of the Sea trait. They’ll build relationships with dolphins and merfolk a lot faster. They’re pretty good swimmers too!
Traits.equip_trait trait_NaturalSpeaker	Give your Sim the Natural Speaker trait, making them much more charismatic and convincing to others.
Traits.equip_trait trait_Hidden_IslandAncestor_Elemental	Give your Sim the Sulani Mana trait. They can boost plants and even summon volcanic bombs. This is a hidden trait.

Trigger a Volcanic Eruption

Whenever you are on a lot with the Volcanic Activity lot challenge, you can summon a volcanic outburst.

Cheat Code	Result
Volcanic_Eruption Small	Small lava bombs will fall on your current lot.
Volcanic_Eruption Large	Large lava bombs will fall on your current lot.

Get Promoted in the New Careers

The Sims 4 Island Living adds the Conservationist career and three new part-time jobs. First, pick up your Sims’ phone and choose the career path you want for them. Now you can use cheats to advance them to the next level of their work.

Careers.promote Conservationist	Level up in the Conservationist career.
Careers.promote PartTime_Diver	Level up in the Diver part-time job.
Careers.promote PartTime_Fisherman	Level up in the Fisherman part-time job.
Careers.promote PartTime_Lifeguard	Level up in the Lifeguard part-time job.
Careers.promote Teen_Lifeguard	Level up in the Lifeguard part-time job as a teen.

You can also change the word promote into demote if you want to decrease their career level.

Clean Up the Island of Sulani

As a conservationist, you’ll work in order to clean up the beautiful beaches of Sulani. With these cheats you’ll speed up the process.

Cheat Code	Result
Narrative.start_narrative narrative_IslandConservation_Stage_Starting	This is the begin stage of Sulani. Beaches will be full of trash, fishnets and the sea looks polluted.
Narrative.start_narrative narrative_IslandConservation_Stage_Intermediate	The beaches become less littered and the water starts clearing up a little bit.
Narrative.start_narrative narrative_IslandConservation_Stage_Final	The beaches are squeaky clean and the sea is clear as day. You can now see lots of colorful coral reefs and sea creatures, especially in Mua Pel’am!

Spawn Dolphins and Sharks

You need to be in the deeper parts of the ocean to summon these two animals, but then you can summon not one, but maaaaany dolphins and/or sharks.

Loot.apply_to_Sim loot_Dolphins_Investigate_SpawnDolphin	When swimming in deep water, you’ll have a 25% chance to summon a dolphin.
Sims.add_buff buff_OceanSwimming_ReactionTrigger_SharkSighting	When swimming in deep water, you’ll have a 50% chance to have a shark swim by.

Start the Sulani Island Festivals

There are seven festivals native to Sulani. The island will rotate these events from time to time, but by using these cheats, you can celebrate Sulani’s culture whenever you want!

Combine Island Living with The Sims 4 Seasons

Each world has its own climate, but Sulani even has its own weather type; a monsoon. If you have The Sims 4 Seasons installed, you can enter Weather.start_weather_event weather_Rain_Storm_Warm in the Cheat Console to change to this hot & rainy weather condition.
